How is a water softening system installed?

Spatial requirements
- direct proximity to the house water connection (directly after the water meter)
- dry, frost-free room (ambient temperature should not exceed 30° C)
- A power connection must be available (a normal socket is sufficient)
- A sewer connection must be available (for example a funnel siphon)
- Ideally there is a floor drain (not absolutely necessary)
What do you need?
- manual skills (for self-assembly)
- Connection set consisting of two flexible hoses and connection fitting
- Water filter (recommended)
- various tools (depending on the pipe type, you may need the appropriate pressing tools)
Installation procedure
- Turn off the water at the main tap in front of the water meter
- Disconnect the water pipe after the water meter (and the water filter )
- Insert the connection block at the cut location
- Connect the system to the connection block using the flexible hoses
- Lead the rinse water hose to the drain
- Connect the power supply to the socket
- program the system if necessary
- Check everything for leaks and continue with the system's operating instructions
