This fully automatic, two-column water softening system with electronic, water quantity-controlled control valve CLACK WS1-TT is simply installed in front of your existing domestic water network. The system uses the tried and tested ion exchange process and removes the hardness-forming substances and thus the limescale completely from your tap water if desired. In contrast to our basic softeners, the duplex systems have a second softening column. This enables an uninterrupted soft water supply, as the second column simply steps in during the regeneration phase of the first column. This is particularly advantageous in apartment buildings. An integrated safety float valve protects the salt container from overflow and the glass fiber reinforced pressure tank can withstand pressure surges of up to 16 bar. Thanks to our sophisticated ECO-INJECT SYSTEM, the system saves up to 50% salt and operates at almost maximum capacity.

* The installation fee includes the installation of a connection block, the connection to the waste water, the commissioning of a basic water softening system, the travel costs and the following materials: Two reduction nipples or transition pieces from the existing pipe system to the connection block.
The flat rate only applies under the following conditions:
1. After the water meter/water filter there is approx. 30 cm of straight pipe (horizontal or vertical)
2. There is a freely accessible parking space for the system in the immediate vicinity of the above-mentioned line (see dimensions)
3. In the same room there is a freely accessible sewage pipe
4. There is a power connection in the immediate vicinity of the facility’s parking space
Any conversion work and additional materials will be charged separately. Please note that our fitters are not permitted to carry out any work on your electrical installation.

The frequency of refilling salt in a DUPLEX water softener depends on various factors, such as the water hardness in your area, the water consumption of your home or business, and the capacity of the system's salt tank. Here are some general guidelines that can help you estimate how often you need to refill the salt:
Water hardness: The harder the water, the more salt is needed for the ion exchange process to soften the water.
Water consumption: Higher water consumption leads to more frequent regeneration cycles, which in turn means more salt consumption.
Salt container capacity: Larger salt containers need to be refilled less frequently. Check the capacity of the salt container of your DUPLEX system.
Average Salt Consumption: In general, household water softeners use about 125 grams of salt per regeneration per cubic meter of soft water.
To get a more accurate assessment, you can consider your daily or monthly water consumption and water hardness. As a rule of thumb, in an average household the salt in the softener should be replenished approximately every 6 to 12 months. However, it is important to check the salt level regularly and top up the salt as needed to ensure continued efficient water softening. Please refer to the technical data sheet for the exact salt consumption or use our capacity calculator to calculate the approximate consumption.
At the beginning of the installation, the installer will briefly turn off the water until he can install the connection fitting.
Water will then be available to you as usual again and it will no longer need to be turned off for further installation.
